Haven’t you ever tried to google “what is post-grad life like?” or “how do relationships change once out of college?” or wonder if anyone is struggling as much as you are with trying to figure out what to do with your life? Well, I have wondered all of the above and more.

When I graduated from John Brown University in December of 2018, I started to search for other people’s experiences and looking for tips. I found a few posts here and there about post-grad life, but the posts were not continuous. Lots of people talk about their experience of what it’s like after college, but usually, it’s one post and then they move onto their regular content. My intention was to create a safe place where the content is for the reader’s enjoyment, but also to know that you’re not alone. I constantly see and hear about young adults’ struggle with being ejected into the “real world” with no idea of what to do with themselves.

To be clear about what you are getting yourself into by venturing on my blog:

  •  My own experiences with how post-grad life has been so far
    • Lessons I’ve learned
    • Messages on my heart
    • Researching topics for fun
  • Interviews with friends who have graduated as well
  • My poetry or poems I like
  • My dreams, which I have turned into short stories and
  • Literature/Entertainment/Influencers suggestions

UPDATE: I’ve made it my goal to make posts twice a month. What day’s does that usually come out on? A safe bet would be to check on Monday’s for new content.

I encourage you to write comments after reading a post to be a part of the sharing thoughts community. Seeing feedback no matter the subject is encouraging, but also helps me brainstorm for how I can improve my website.

I hope you enjoy what you find here and even come back to hear about my stories and other people’s as well.
